WayFollowers is a totally free, social and business NETWORKING site.
You will notice that I capitalized the word, networking. If all you do is post a link and send advertising messages, you are missing out on most of the benefits that this site provides to you.
Forming relationships and developing trust and respect is the most powerful marketing technique of them all, particularly if you are sincere about it. If your relationships are just a pretense to sell someone something, you're a con-artist. But if you sincerely like people and want to do right by them, then you are a good marketer, and you will be a successful one as well.
Reach out to your fellow members. Read their profiles. Send them a message and communicate with them where THEY are at. Show a genuine interest in them. As your online relationship develops, you will come to know their aspirations and identify their genuine needs. When the opportunity presents itself, and you are motivated by a genuine desire to be helpful, offer them a quality product that will meet their needs. Most will be inclined to accept of your offer.
That is the best marketing and salesmanship that you can ever do. It will give both you and your customer a genuine sense of satisfaction, creating a win-win situation for you both.

The security situation is very bad now in Burundi. The remaining active rebel movement is blindly throwing mortar shells on the capital city, Bujumbura, from the mountains overlooking it. Yesterday, the shells landed at the university campus and in the Papal Nuncio's residence. There were no human casualties, thank God, but much destruction. SN Brussels, the airline that flies into Bujumbura, has suspended the flights until further notice.
There is a lot of fear. People are at home at 6PM to be on the safe side.
We are unable to get out to the Batwa people because of these conditions. Please pray for them and for all the people there.
To our members who live in America, I say, give God thanks that you live in America. Be ever vigilant to keep America safe and secure internally as well as externally. And have compassion for people in parts of the world who are less fortunate than you.

I have created a free downline builder for the My World Plus opportunity. You can get yours HERE. I do quite well with this opportunity. I also save quite a bit of money using the discount card, which is their product. It gives you discounts when you shop at stores in your own neighborhood. That's right. You get discounts shopping in offline stores that you would normally shop at. They also give you discounts for online shopping. This is a double winner as far as I am concerned. You make residual income and you get shopping discounts.

There was a tomb excavated in Jerusalem in 1980 that contained ossuaries (burial boxes containing bones), allegedly with the names of Jesus, Mary Magdalene, and others who could be identified in connecction with the family of Jesus. In January, 2008, Ruth Gat, the widow of the archaeologist who excavated the tomb, made a statement that her husband knew this was the tomb of Jesus, but wouldn't say so, fearing it would cause a rise in anti-semitism.
If a tomb was discovered that truly contained the bones of Jesus, the ramifications would be horrific and overwhelming. However, faith wins out as well-placed faith always does.
Below is what was written in the Duke University Religion Department Blog. I have reproduced it here, not having seen any copyright openly listed on the Blog.

The Talpiot Tomb Controversy Revisited
A firestorm has broken out in Jerusalem following the conclusion of the “Third Princeton Theological Seminary Symposium on Jewish Views of the Afterlife and Burial Practices in Second Temple Judaism: Evaluating the Talpiot Tomb in Context.” Most negative assessments of archaeologists and other scientists and scholars who attended have been excluded from the final press reports. Instead the media have presented the views of Simcha Jacobovici, who produced the controversial film and book “The Lost Tomb of Jesus” with Hollywood director James Cameron, and who claims that his identification has been vindicated by the conference papers. Nothing further from the truth can be deduced from the discussion and presentations that took place on January 13-17, 2008.
A statistical analysis of the names engraved on the ossuaries leaves no doubt that the probability of the Talpiot tomb belonging to Jesus’ family is virtually nil if the Mariamene named on one of the ossuaries is not Mary Magdalene. Even the reading of the inscribed name as “Mariamene” was contested by epigraphers at the conference. Furthermore, Mary Magdalene is not referred to by the Greek name Mariamene in any literary sources before the late second-third century AD. An expert panel of scholars on the subject of Mary in the early church dismissed out of hand the suggestion that Mary Magdalene was married to Jesus, and no traditions refer to a son of Jesus named Judah (another individual named on an ossuary from the Talpiot tomb). Moreover, the DNA evidence from the tomb, which has been used to suggest that Jesus had a wife, was dismissed by the Hebrew University team that devised such procedures and has conducted such research all over the world. The ossuary inscribed with the name “Jesus son of Joseph” is paralleled by a find from another Jerusalem tomb, and at least one speaker said the reading of the name “Jesus” on the Talpiot tomb ossuary is uncertain. Testimony from archaeologists who were involved in the excavation of the Talpiot tomb leaves no doubt that the “missing” tenth ossuary was plain and uninscribed, eliminating any possibility that it is the so-called “James ossuary.”
The identification of the Talpiot tomb as the tomb of Jesus’ family flies in the face of the accounts of Paul and the canonical Gospel, which are the earliest traditions describing Jesus’ death and burial. According to these accounts Jesus’ body was placed in the tomb of a prominent follower named Joseph of Arimathea. Since at least the early fourth century Christians have venerated the site of Jesus’ burial at the spot marked by the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. In contrast, not a single tradition, Christian or otherwise, preserves any reference to or recollection of a family tomb of Jesus anywhere in Jerusalem.
The smoking gun at the conference was the surprise appearance of Ruth Gat, the widow of the archaeologist who excavated the tomb in 1980 and has since passed away. Mrs. Gat announced that her husband had known about the identification all along but was afraid to tell anyone because of the possibility of an anti-Semitic reaction. However, Joseph Gat lacked the expertise to read the inscriptions. Jacobovici now says that Mrs. Gat’s statement has vindicated his claims about the tomb.
To conclude, we wish to protest the misrepresentation of the conference proceedings in the media, and make it clear that the majority of scholars in attendance – including all of the archaeologists and epigraphers who presented papers relating to the tomb - either reject the identification of the Talpiot tomb as belonging to Jesus’ family or find this claim highly speculative.

I want to wish you and your loved ones a very blessed, happy, and healthy 2008.
May you find success in your marketing, or in whatever endeavor that takes hold of your heart.
May you prosper and see your wealth as a tool, rather than an end in itself. And may one of the ways you use that tool be to better the lives of those who have needs for which you may provide a little help.

I want to wish all the members of WayFollowers a very blessed and merry Christmas.
It's an old saying, but do please keep Christ in Christmas. We can get so caught up with the gift-giving and the parties that we lose track of what this holiday (holy day) is all about. And we never must forget that Christ gave us the greatest gift of all: atonement for our sin and the possibility of everlasting life with our Father in Heaven. May God bless you all and may Christ be in your hearts always and forever. Yours in the love of christ, -Rev. Dave P.S. Please do have a happy and sober New Year's celebration.

Here I go again probably alienating myself from another guru and his followers.
I got an offer yesterday from several people about Ty Coughlin's Reverse Funnel System that claims to be able to make up to $10,000 a day for at least some people and somewhat less, but still huge amounts for others depending I suppose on how diligent they are about following Ty's system. The whole thing is based on something called "arbitrage", which involves buying PPC traffic for a low price per keyword that is sold to other PPC services like Adsense for a much higher price.
Ty says that this was a secret among some high-earning marketers for years, but he found out about it and researched it, eventually putting out a report on it. He then got a call from a guy in South America who Ty says makes $10,000 per day with this system. This guy told him that though his report was mostly correct, there were things - important things - that Ty didn't know. And over the course of several conversations this guy revealed these things to TY, who now is selling the system, or method or whatever to the public.
Ty's sales pitch is convincing and he is pictures living the good life in Hawaii from all the money he has made. However, cynical me has questions and doubts.
If you are making $10,000 a day or even just a few thousand a day, why would you want to go through the effort of creating a product about it and sell it to the world? If everyone knows about it and does it, won't the profitability decrease? And isn't $10,000 a day enough for anyone? Why would some South American millionaire spell his guts to Ty? And if it was so easy to make this kind of money, why are people losing their homes in the U.S. because of increasing mortgage rates that they can't pay?
I could go on and on, but if you spend a minute thinking about this, I think you will come up with as many skeptical questions as I did.
Look, I could use ten grand a day, even a few grand a day. I could save a lot of lives in Africa for that; I could build a lot of homeless shelters here in the U.S. for that, and I could do a lot of good for my own family with that. But I find it very difficult to believe what is being claimed by Ty.
If he can show me otherwise so that I get the income into my hands and so that you can get it too, I'll become a believer and a supporter of his program, but until that happens, I'll remain skeptical. I'm not buying this program, even if I can return it and get my money back.
My guess is that Ty will make a lot of money from gullible people and so will some of his affiliates who market the program. But few, if any, will make money from the system itself. Oh, and by the way, if the system can make you so much money, why would you want to put effort into marketing it as an affiliate? Why not just apply it and make your several thousand per day?
You see, it just doesn't add up to me.

Since the passing of Cognigen founder Kevin Anderson, changes are occurring in the company, which comes as no great surprise. However, it is certainly worth taking a look at the company if you haven't joined them already, and joining them is totally free - no upgraded memberships, just plain free.
I just received the following email regarding Cognigen:
Dear Agents,
I’m pleased to be writing to you as the new CEO of Cognigen Networks, Inc. I look forward to speaking with many of you over the next several weeks. The primary purpose of this letter is to update you on recent activities that we believe will have a positive effect on your sales efforts as well as Cognigen’s overall business. I’d also like to invite you to join us on this week’s Agent Conference Call. The call is set for Thursday, November 8 at 9pm Eastern/8pm Central/7pm Mountain/6pm Pacific.
Several months ago, BayHill Capital made an investment in Cognigen and began working with its management team to bring additional funds into the company and help strengthen Cognigen’s financial position. As a member of BayHill Capital, I have had a strong interest in helping Cognigen find the best structure and situation to keep the affiliate marketing business running and moving forward. I see great value and opportunity in the affiliate marketing business and appreciate the tremendous effort that has been made over the years by all of you, our partners in success. Through your continued support and efforts Cognigen has a foundation that can be used to build value and create new growth opportunities for you and the company.
On October 17th BayHill Capital became the largest shareholder of Cognigen through its investments in the company. On October 26th the board of directors elected me as a board member and also appointed me as the Chief Executive Officer and President. I very much appreciate their confidence and the support they have already shown. I hope over the next weeks and months to gain your confidence and support as we build an exciting platform to help you deliver products and services to millions of customers.
We have a number of initiatives that will be implemented in the near-term and are developing the longer-term strategies to build a company that can supply a constant stream of products to you to serve your present and future clients. One of our first initiatives is to add technology, expertise, and management resources that will support and enhance your efforts and abilities to create sales of products and services more efficiently.
Yesterday, we announced that Cognigen signed a letter of intent to acquire Commission River. Commission River was founded and is managed by Adam Edwards and Patrick Oborn. Commission River has developed the technology that will give you added marketing tools, transparency into the sales process, and information you need to be successful. We are excited about the opportunity to partner with Commission River and believe that this acquisition will be a big part of Cognigen’s future success. Adam and Patrick will lead the day-to-day operations of the affiliate marketing business as we finalize the acquisition and then become part of the successful management team as we integrate the operations. In addition to the acquisition, we are moving forward with further capital raising initiatives that will help fund both our short-tem working capital needs and longer-term growth plans.
As I mentioned earlier, I invite you to participate in the weekly agent conference call on Thursday, November 8 at 9pm Eastern/8pm Central/7pm Mountain/6pm Pacific time. We will be sharing additional details of our vision with you and will give you an opportunity to ask questions you may have about the company.
We are aware of some of the frustrations and challenges you have experienced. We look forward to your further comments and suggestions. Through your participation and input we will build a successful enterprise to create opportunity for you and the other stakeholders. I’m excited about working with each of you and the Cognigen management team that is coming together to better serve your needs. You will be the key to our success and we are committed to create the technology, processes, and systems to better serve your needs. We thank you for your support and look forward to gaining your confidence as we execute a joint strategy to build a great future together.
Sincerely,
Bob Bench Chief Executive Officer
Since it is totally free to join Cognigen, I would advise those who haven't already, to go ahead and do so. If what Bob Bench writes plays out well for the company, you'll want to be a part of it, and if it doesn't, you will have lost nothing.
-Rev. Dave
P.S. I have been an affiliate of Cognigen for years and receive regular affiliate commissions from them.

Linda Siegelwax came up with these, and they sound interesting to me. Thought you might be interested too!
GREAT TIPS:
1. Reheat Pizza - Heat up leftover pizza in a nonstick skillet on top of the stove, set heat to med-low and heat till warm. This keeps the crust crispy. No soggy micro pizza. I saw this on the cooking channel and it really works.
2. Easy Deviled Eggs - Put cooked egg yolks in a zip lock bag. Seal, mash till they are all broken up. Add remainder of ingredients, reseal, keep mashing it up mixing thoroughly, cut the tip of the baggy, squeeze mixture into egg. Just throw bag away when done easy clean up.
3. Expanding Frosting - When you buy a container of cake frosting from the store, whip it with your mixer for a few minutes. You can double it in size. You get to frost more cake/cupcakes with the same amount. You also eat less sugar and calories per serving.
4. Reheating refrigerated bread - To warm biscuits, pancakes, or muffins that were refrigerated, place them in a microwave with a cup of water. The increased moisture will keep the food moist and help it reheat faster.
5. Newspaper weeds away - Start putting in your plants, work the nutrients in your soil. Wet newspapers put layers around the plants overlapping as you go cover with mulch and forget about weeds. Weeds will get through some gardening plastic they will not get through wet newspapers.
6 Broken Glass - Use a wet cotton ball or Q-tip to pick up the small shards of glass you can't see easily.
7. No More Mosquitoes - Place a dryer sheet in your pocket. It will keep the mosquitoes away.
8. Squirrel Away - To keep squirrels from eating your plants sprinkle your plants with cayenne pepper. The cayenne pepper doesn't hurt the plant and the squirrels won't come near it.
9. Flexible vacuum - To get something out of a heat register or under the fridge add an empty paper towel roll or empty gift wrap roll to your vacuum. It can be bent or flattened to get in narrow openings.
10. Reducing Static Cling - Pin a small safety pin to the seam of your slip and you will not have a clingy skirt or dress. Same thing works with slacks that cling when wearing panty hose. Place pin in seam of slacks and -- ta da! -- static is gone.
11. Measuring Cups - Before you pour sticky substances into a measuring cup, fill with hot water. Dump out the hot water, but don't dry cup. Next, add your ingredient, such as peanut butter, and watch how easily it comes right out.
12. Foggy Windshield - Hate foggy windshields? Buy a chalkboard eraser and keep it in the glove box of your car. When the windows fog, rub with the eraser! Works better than a cloth!
13. Reopening envelope - If you seal an envelope and then realize you forgot to include something inside, just place your sealed envelope in the freezer for an hour or two. Viola! It unseals easily
14. Conditioner - Use your hair conditioner to shave your legs. It's a lot cheaper than shaving cream and leaves your legs really smooth. It's also a great way to use up the conditioner you bought but didn't like when you tried it in your hair...
15. Goodbye Fruit Flies - To get rid of pesky fruit flies, take a small glass fill it 1/2" with Apple Cider Vinegar and 2 drops of dish washing liquid, mix well. You will find those flies drawn to the cup and gone forever!
16. Get Rid of Ants - Put small piles of cornmeal where you see ants. They eat it, take it "home," can't digest it so it kills them. It may take a week or so, especially if it rains, but it works & you don't have the worry about pets or small children being harmed!
17. INFO ABOUT CLOTHES DRYERS - The heating unit went out on my dryer! The gentleman that fixes things around the house for us told us that he wanted to show us something and he went over to the dryer and pulled out the lint filter. It was clean.
(I always clean the lint from the filter after every load clothes.) He told us that he wanted to show us something; he took the filter over to the sink, ran hot water over it. The lint filter is made of a mesh material - I'm sure you know what your dryer's lint filter looks like. WELL...the hot water just sat on top of the mesh! It didn't go through it at all! He told us that dryer sheets cause a film over that mesh that's what burns out the heating unit.
You can't SEE the film, but it's there. It's what is in the dryer sheets to make your clothes soft and static free -- that nice fragrance too, you know how they can feel waxy when you take them out of the box, well this stuff builds up on your clothes and on your lint screen This is also what causes dryer units to catch fire & potentially burn your house down with it!
He said the best way to keep your dryer working for a very long time (& to keep your electric bill lower) is to take that filter out & wash it with hot soapy water & an old toothbrush (or other brush) at least every six months. He said that makes the life of the dryer at least twice as long! How about that!?! Learn something new everyday!
I went to my dryer & tested my screen by running water on it. The water ran through a little bit but mostly collected all the water in the mesh screen. I washed it with warm soapy water & a nylon brush & I had it done in 30 seconds. Then when I rinsed it the water ran right Thru the screen! There wasn't any puddling at all! That repairman knew what he was talking about! -Rev. Dave

Thanks to one of our members, I learned about a business that benefits its users and supports charitable organizations. I have just completed an application to get my Burundi Mission listed as one of the charities they support.
Funderbug is a new concept in fund raising. You shop major retailers through their site, and a significant amount from what you spend goes to the chrarity you choose. It's a win-win situation. You get what you wanted to purchase and in the process, children's lives get saved.
This is a way that you can benefit the children that my mission in Africa serves. Just check to see that the Saint John Catholic Church, Inc. Burundi Mission has been listed on the site, then bookmark the site and shop for what you usually would shop for online through Funderbug , designating the Saint John Catholic Church, Inc. Burundi Mission as the charity you want to support. You can be assured that 100% of what my organization gets from Funderbug will go to the children, saving their lives and educating them to become productive citizens with good values.
Remember, no administrative fees will be deducted and no one in my organization gets paid for their work with these children. We give everything we get to our cause. Thank you, and God bless. -Rev. Dave

When I see certain trends occurring in messages from some so-called gurus, it makes me wonder.
Take for instance this message I got today from a marketer whose name I will not disclose because I want you to be aware of what I am saying, but I don't want to vilify any one individual.
The message read as follows:
Today we received a bunch of responses on our helpdesk as people could not purchase the One-Time-Offer due to the payment buttons not working. As you can imagine a One-Time-Offer is only available once so responses were from some really peeved new members.
Even my affiliate partners were complaining as they were receiving direct complaints from customers.
Well I am sorry and have decided to reset the OTO for you. But, it would take us days to email everyone back individually so we have just closed all of the helpdesk tickets. So if you were one of the people who had a problem please consider this your response and here is your link so you can take a look at our Super One-Time-Offer ...
Had this message been an isolated incident, I would have thought nothing of it, but I have received several such messages from marketers who do these OTO things. By the way, if you don't know, an OTO is a "One Time Offer." They sell you something at a very low price and before they give you the download link, they make this once only, never to be repeated OTO, which sells for a considerably higher price than the first thing they sold you. Well, there is a cynical part of me that thinks that maybe this is a way for them to give you a sneaky second look at that once only, never to be repeated OTO. Now, if this is true, they are being dishonest; and if they are dishonest about one thing, then maybe they are being dishonest in what they say are the benefits of the OTO.
Bottom line: Be aware of guru trends. There may be more to them than meets the eye. And that may not always be in your best interest.

The fighting in Burundi started a week ago at 4:30 am, Burundi time. People fled their homes with nothing. Some people fled literally naked. When they came back the little they had was looted and some houses burnt. We identified 20 Batwa women who had no clothes at all. The women wear special clothes made of pieces of material. We were able to provide material for them so they wouldn't be naked. The rebels who were fighting have now been taken to a far away area under the supervision of the peace keeping mission of the African union. So, the violence has settled down. Conditions for these people are terrible. Yet, they remain strong in their Christian faith. My clergyman there and our few seminarians, in spite of their own danger and poverty, endure and serve, to make sure the people survive and the children are educated, laying the ground work for a better future for them all. And these people are not sympathetic to terrorists. We want to keep it that way so that the fanatics don't ever get a foothold there. All this takes money. Unfortunately, raising money for the people of Burundi is no easy task. People in America and not as willing to give to our cause in this little known country, poverty ridden, yet Christian stronghold. If any of you are willing to help, you may send donations via PayPal to chancellor@saintjohncatholic.org We are a tax-exempt, public charity, designated as such by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, so your donations are tax deductible in the U.S. And be it known that my organization does not deduct any administrative expenses from donations we receive. We pay our administrative overhead ourselves out of our own personal funds. None of my clergy receive a salary. We are all self-supporting and we all donate substantial amounts to our mission. Few, if any other charities can honestly make this claim. And yet, far more is donated to other charities that are essentially businesses, even if non-profit, whose employees and directors get paid, some quite handsomely. Anyway, we need all the help for the people of Burundi that we can get, particularly the Batwa people, who are the poorest of the poor there, and the most devastated. And please pray for them.
|
The situation continues to be tense in Burundi. All the night, the village where our Batwa people live was ground for fierce combat between two rival factions of rebels. The Batwa had to flee their village. However, it seems that the situation is cooling down, and they may come back late this evening.
Needless to say, the Batwa have almost nothing. But the little they might have is stolen during these attacks.
Fortunately, we held off distributing the school supplies when we saw this turmoil brewing. We are planning to distribute the supplies when the situation cools down and it is safe enough for us to go there and have the children assemble to get the supplies.
Please pray for the people of Burundi that lasting peace may come to them.

I am different than many online marketers. In particular, I am usually rebellious against the pseudo-gurus. Who are the pseudo gurus? These are the new breed of guru who base their marketing on gimmicks and psychological manipulation of consumers, often taking advantage of people desperate for income and people new to online marketing of the guru opportunity variety.
The pseudo gurus often market flash-in-the pan products that sell well for a short period of time, and then fade out or are eclipsed by another pseudo-guru's product or by a new product from the same pseudo-guru. Then, the older product often ends up being given away free as a one-time offer or bonus gift to entice consumers into purchasing, or subscribing to the pseudo-gurus next product, or some other hopeful marketer's new product.
I don't like to purchase one-time offers. It turns me off to the marketer and to the main product he or she is marketing. Most of what is being offered as a bonus is readily available free elsewhere online; and I feel like I am being strangled into taking the worthless bonuses, or not getting the best price from the one-time-only page display of the main offer.
There is a big difference between the pseudo-gurus and the classic gurus. Classic gurus are people like Armand Morin, Marlon Sanders, and many others who create new products of lasting value and continually improve them and upgrade them. They are not usually here-today-gone-tomorrow products. The classic gurus stand on their reputations that have been established by the quality and effectiveness of their products. They keep up with current technology in marketing, but they don't exploit the weaknesses of the consumer. And they don't usually rely on a privileged clique of inner-circle JV partners. Furthermore, they have affiliate programs that provide excellent resources to put their affiliates on an even playing-field. For example, check out the affiliate programs of the aforementioned classic gurus, Armand Morin and Marlon Sanders. (The Armand Morin link has my affiliate ID in it, so if you use that, you will become my sub-affilliate. However, the Marlon Sanders link is generic because he doesn't have a sub-affiliate program. In other words, the Morin program is multi-tiered, whereas the Sanders program is single-tiered.)
In my opinion, if you are going to market guru products and you are not a privileged insider, you are better off sticking with a classic guru who will supply you with a lot of tools with which to do your affiliate marketing.

Have you seen those squeeze pages and bonus offers where someone promises you a free magazine subscription for submitting your email address or as a sign-up bonus? Some marketers even imply that their site is so good that this magazine was willing to enter into a joint venture with them, giving their subscribers the opportunity to get the free subscription.
The truth is that you can subscribe to several good web marketing magazines free. They don't charge for their subscriptions because they make their income solely through advertising. And they have affiliate programs that pays marketers for giving away free subscriptions.
WayFollowers is an affiliate of one of these magazines, and you can get a free subscription by clicking on the banner on top of the left column on the WayFollowers' Home Page.
WayFollowers is an honest and ethical community of webmarketers. We don't deceive. We don't imply things that are not true. And if any of our members does that, the member will be terminated from membership as soon as I find out about it.
Yes, we want to be successful working online; yes, we want to earn money; but we don't believe that the end justifies the means. We will pass up profit if we have to be dishonest to earn it. We are honorable, ethical marketers; and we are proud of it!

I joined the Christian Web Masters Forum a few days ago. It is located at http://www.christian-web-masters.com. The folks there welcomed me warmly, and I feel right at home there.
Just as WayFollowers is a group of like-minded markets who use this site for social and business networking, the Christian Web Masters Forum is a group of like-minded webmasters who use that site to learn from each other about running and marketing their sites, sharing information and resources. I think this can benefit anyone who is serious about operating a web site, and even if you don't have a site of your own, it can give you insight and understanding about the affiliate sites you utilize.

Apart from the mega marketers like Google, Yahoo, and sites that can use TV advertising as a means to promote their sites, the most money made online by the smaller-scale marketer is through more personal contact. And this is particularly true in the opportunity marketing niche.
The old saying that the money is in the list was true and remains true today. However, it is not just in a list of names and email addresses.
Years ago, I purchased a very large list of names and email addresses. I mailed that list repeatedly and never made a sale. Sometime later on, I started a membership site. The first time I mailed an offer to the members, I made a few sales. However, there were only 250 members. So, how come mailing to a list that numbered in the tens of thousands produced no sales, but mailing to a group of 250 yielded sales?
The answer is that the 250 members of my site had a relationship with me. They had joined my site; they knew my name; they had received mail from me before that wasn't related to selling them anything; and they felt that in some way, they had a rapport with me. And all that was just from being a member of my site and having received some admin emails from me.
Now, imagine what would happen if they knew me even better. And imagine how much better you can make yourself known, using WayFollowers.
With WayFollowers, you start off with fellow-members who have something in common with you. Whatever it was that motivated you to join WayFollowers is similar to what made them join. And now that you're here, you can let your own skills and talents shine. People will get to know you and they will like you, some better than others, but that's OK. Your unique personality will attract people to you. And since this site will come to be prominent in the search engines because of its content, others will be attracted to join WayFollowers, at least in part because of what you present here.
Everything you do here promotes YOU and will attract others to YOU. That's the biggest plus you can have in online marketing, because the better they know you and the better they like you, the better customers they will be for you.
Every guru knows this; every guru has a huge list of people who admire them, who want to be like them, and who are inclined to buy from them. And this is an asset that draws other gurus to them with joint venture offers. It is that process that makes the gurus so successful. And you can accomplish that here at WayFollowers. In fact, you have an additional asset derived from WayFollowers. As a member, you are associated with a commnity of sincere, truthful, ethical marketers who live their business lives in accordance with Christian ideals. That means something to millions of people worldwide.
So, will WayFollowers benefit you as a marketer? My answer is a resounding YES!

I started WayFollowers with the encouragement of my good friend Bill Nelson who is a Christian and an excellent online program owner.
Our vision was to form a community of Internet marketers who live their Christianity in both their private lives and in their business lives. We are not speaking only of businesses with a specifically Christian theme, but rather of any business that advertises truthfully; is not lewd, or in any way contrary to Christian teaching; prices its goods and services fairly; does not exploit consumers; and delivers very good customer service. And we are not speaking of marketers who are constantly preaching, but we are speaking of marketers who are not ashamed to say that they are Christian and not ashamed to witness to their faith at opportune moments.
There is a Christian concept of community known by the Greek word, "koinonia". It is a concept of a community based on like-minded people who love one another and help one another. The love spoken of here is characterized by another Greek word, "agape". Greek, the language in which the New Testament, or as some prefer to call it, the New Covenant, was first written, has several words for love, which describes more accurately than English the various forms that love can take.
Agape can best be conceptualized as caring about the well-being of your fellow human beings. Having agape for people doesn't require that you like all of them, only that you care about their well-being and will help them in a time of need.
The WayFollowers community is intended to be one of agape. We want each other to prosper and we will help one another as best we can. We will do that for love of God and love of neighbor; and our prosperity will not only consist of marketing profit, but also of the joy that comes from living the summary of the Commandments of the Father that Jesus taught us - to love the Lord our God and to love our neighbors as ourselves.
